Mit diesem Formular ist es möglich, pH-Werte abzuschätzen, welche Lösungen von Säuren, Laugen aber auch Salzen haben werden.
Es ist möglich, entweder ein Salz in Form von An- und Kation einzugeben (Radio-Button "Eingabe zweier Ionen" aktivieren, und dann die entsprechenden Ionen in den Optionsfeldern auswählen), oder eine Säure/Base als Substanz (Radio-Button "Ungeladene Form" aktivieren, und aus dem Optionsfeld die entsprechende Substanz auswählen).
In der Datenbank werden Löslichkeiten abgeglichen und eventuell korrigiert, wenn ein Wert vorhanden ist. So wird z.B. eine Calciumcarbonat-Lösung korrekt berechnet, ebenso eine Aluminiumhydroxid-Lsg. usw. Nicht berücksichtigt werden jedoch evtl. Ausfällungen schwerlöslicher Niederschläge, z.B. infolge Hydroxid-Bildung eines Amids o.ä.
